According to PTI's latest report747 live, the BJP source said that the next chief minister of Delhi along with the council of ministers is likely to take oath on February 20.

The BJP’s victory marked the end of the AAP’s decade-long reign in the national capital, with the defeat of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency at the hands of BJP’s Parvesh Verma adding further significance to the win.

Meanwhile, AAP continues to attack BJP’s lack of a CM face for the national capital. AAP leader and Delhi’s acting Chief Minister, Atishi, accused the BJP of being leaderless and unable to form a credible government. 

At a press conference, Atishi lambasted the BJP for the delay in naming the Chief Minister and the cabinet, claiming that the party had no vision or plan for governance.

“It’s been ten days since the election results were announced. People thought the BJP would declare its Chief Minister and cabinet on February 9 and begin developmental works immediately. But it is now clear that they have no face to run Delhi,” Atishi said. 

She further alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not trust any of the 48 BJP MLAs elected in Delhi and accused the party of lacking a clear direction for the future.
