AC Milan have bolstered their attacking options with the addition of Chelsea's Joao Felix on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. (More Football News)

Milan have paid a £5million loan fee for Joao Felix, with no obligation to buy the 25-year-old Portugal international in the summer.

After spending the second half of the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Stamford Bridge, Joao Felix put pen to paper on a permanent deal with the Blues in August last year. 

He signed a seven-year deal for a reported £35m, but has struggled for game time this term given the overhaul of additions made by Chelsea during the summer window.

Joao Felix was one of 11 new arrivals at the club before the 2024-25 campaign, but he has since made just 20 appearances across all competitions. 

The former Atletico Madrid striker started three Premier League games and has been mainly used by Maresca in the cup competitions. 

"I want to become a coach. That was always my plan but now there is a question of when. After retirement, family comes first. I need to talk with them if they are OK with this. Now you have to listen to your wife a little bit," Sreejesh told PTI editors at its headquarters here on Tuesday.
